Package Design
Pickletini
Project Details
Pickletini is a packaging concept for a four-pack canned cocktail, developed within the constraints of a standard tall-can box template. The visual identity is built around a chartreuse-leaning green palette, paired with a sharp red accent to create contrast and immediate visibility. I sourced and integrated vintage woodcut-style imagery of pickletini ingredients, using them to introduce a textured, rustic quality that offsets the otherwise clean structure of the layout. This contrast between old and new became a guiding principle throughout the design. Geometric forms were used to echo the silhouette of a martini glass, which becomes a dominant visual motif across the box panels. This is reinforced through the typography, which leans on modern, geometric typefaces to create alignment between the structural elements and the overall tone of the brand.

Process
Starting from a standard four-pack dieline, I developed the package structure panel by panel to create a continuous visual system across the unfolded box. The martini glass silhouette became the organizing framework for the composition, with angular color blocking extending across multiple faces of the package to reinforce movement and continuity. Vintage ingredient illustrations were scaled and positioned to balance the more rigid geometric forms, while typography was adjusted directly within the flat layout to maintain hierarchy and legibility once folded into its final structure.
