Designing visual systems that shape navigation, interaction, and spatial experience.

About

Growing up in Baltimore, Maryland, Cailin first explored visual storytelling through oil and digital painting in her high school’s Visual Arts program. That early foundation developed into a design practice grounded in systems thinking and visual storytelling. She studied Graphic Design at Drexel University, where her work spans branding, editorial design, and environmental graphic design. Her interests center on how identity systems extend into physical and spatial contexts, with a particular focus on wayfinding, custom typography, and publication design. Cailin previously worked at Exit Design, where she contributed to wayfinding strategy development and signage system design across built environments. She is currently working with the Leonard Pearlstein Gallery, designing exhibition catalogs that translate curatorial ideas into editorial systems. Her practice is driven by a balance of clarity and experimentation, with an emphasis on creating design systems that are both functional and expressive.
